We started Wise with a simple mission: to redefine elementary online tutoring.

Wise Education was developed by parents, for parents. We are driven by six guiding principles.

Make it easy for parents.

We know parents of elementary school students are busy. Wise makes learning easy. Parent participation, while welcome, is neither expected nor needed in our instruction of your child. Leave the teaching to Wise and its fantastic educators - and take that precious time back for yourself.

All live, 1-on-1 online video instruction.

To build the strong social and emotional connection so critical for success with elementary students, all Wise instruction is live and 1-on-1. After carefully matching our students with the best fit Wise teacher, we use a simple video technology that is easy for our youngest learners to master.

Only the very best educators.

Wise’s teachers are simply the best of the best. Rigorously selected, our teachers have all earned master’s degrees and hold state teaching certification. Teaching is not just a job for Wise teachers. It’s a true passion and calling - to instill in our students a lifelong love of learning.

Individualized lesson plans. Always.

Every child is different. At Wise, there is no cookie cutter approach to educating our students online. Drawing from years of experience, Wise teachers build individualized lesson plans, ensuring we are meeting each of our students right where they should be.

Focus on the fundamentals.

Aligning with Common Core standards, our teachers help our elementary students gain mastery of academic foundations in reading, writing and mathematics. We understand how our students learn and tailor our approach to keep them excited about building their skills.

Carefully track progress & outcomes.

Starting with a student assessment, Wise tracks progress against Common Core standards, with a goal of having students perform at or above grade level. We are in regular communication with families about progress to ensure, working together, we can achieve a successful outcome.

Wise’s biggest asset is our passionate, amazing teachers. Here, meet just a few.
